About the Role

We are currently looking for a Warm Forge Press Operator to improve quality of production and press efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to company JI and SOP
• Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
• Represent the company in professional and respectful manner
• Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
• Adherence to 5S principles
• Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually
• Material handling with forklift
• Support department personnel and tasks
• Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards
• Performing required operator level preventative maintenance tasks
• Assisting maintenance during major breakdowns
• Sorting non-conforming product (as required)
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas
• Special projects as determined by area management / supervision
• Managing MPDV per area standards
• Reporting/Document equipment related maintenance issues to supervision / maintenance
• Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns
• Completing required department documentation
• Comply with all additional directives from the management team

Location & Commitments

• Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
• Permanent, Full Time, Third Shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am (40 hour)
• Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs

Candidate Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Forklift
