About the Role

We are currently looking for a Press Operator to improve the quality of product and press efficiency.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate represents the company in a professional manner and demonstrates openness to accept change and innovative ideas while cooperating with others in a spirit of mutual respect and responsibility for the duties assigned to them.

Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually
Material handling with forklift
Support department personnel and tasks
Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards
Performing required operator level preventative maintenance tasks
Assisting maintenance during major breakdowns
Sorting non-conforming product (as required)
Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas
Special projects as determined by area management / supervision
Managing MPDV per area standards
Adherence to 5S Principles
Reporting/Document equipment related maintenance issues to supervision / maintenance
Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns
Completing required department documentation
Adherence to 5S Principles
Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
Adherence to all written and verbal directives of the manager/supervisor

Location & Commitments

Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
Permanent, Full Time, Third Shift 11:00 AM - 7:15 AM (40 hour)
Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs

Candidate Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Print Reading & Basic Math Skills
