About the Role

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift who will be responsible for maintaining the system or machine orderliness by carrying out sustainable planned and breakdown maintenance based on the assigned tasks by supervisor.

  • Adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 requirements
  • The candidate has information about the existing quality, Environment and work safety guidelines and only perform activities within the framework of his qualification or assignment
  • Carry out maintenance work (In Heavy Machinery machines such as Forging presses, Shot Blasting. Cutting machines)
  • This position holder will be responsible for the executing all type of maintenance related activities related to the Mechanical, electrical, programming work.
  • Execute all Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical and programming activities for retrofitting activities, new machines and overhauls as per company guidelines
  • Implement approved machine improvements assigned by the supervisor
  • Conduct the periodic examination on the assigned machines strictly based on the standard task list and also give the feedback based on any abnormal findings in standard check sheet in writing
  • Escalate safety related issues immediately to the supervisor and department Manager immediately by Mail or in writing
  • Assisting the supervisor for the root cause analysis of the problems
  • Support production during start up activities after completion of the maintenance activities
  • To make sure the breakdown of the machines are documented in the system (SAP) on the same day right after the breakdown activity.
  • Follow and implement 5S rules as per company standards in designated areas
  • Use the standard company system (SAP, MPDV etc.) and rules documenting and analysis
  • The job will include off shift additional work, working in different shifts and weekend work if asked by the supervisor in case of Machine breakdown / Planned shutdown / Any urgency.
  • Special job: Forklift operation, Crane operator and Stacker operation

 

Location & Commitments

  • Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
  • Permanent, Full Time, Second Shift 3:00 pm -11:15 pm (40 hour)
  • Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or school or Associate Degree in Mechatronics or Electrician or Mechanical or equivalent
  • 5-6 Years of Maintenance experience
  • Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical knowledge. SPS Programming, drive technique, power electronics, building control units, and S5/S7/Corros programming.
