About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly organized and able to multitask Machining Production Scheduler who will work with cost center leaders/supervisors to publish daily and weekly production plans. This individual will assist with production order opening/closing, administrative duties including managing office equipment, cutting tools, production suppliers, updating the shop floor management team boards daily with accuracy of reporting in SAP.

  • Responsible for placing purchase requisitions for cutting tools and production supplies.
  • Assist with creation of planned monthly reports for cutting tools usage and patterns.
  • Work with the cost centers leaders/ production supervisors to set up daily and weekly production plans for all shifts.
  • Work alongside the cost center leaders and logistics team to accurately track and maintain physical count of production orders while reporting any discrepancies during opening and closing of orders.
  • Ensure cutting tools are placed in the correct tool drawer, manage inventory levels and generate new orders.
  • Setup production boards daily.
  • Maintain and replenish everyday office supplies.
  • Perform any others duties deemed necessary by superior

 

Location & Commitments

  • Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
  • Permanent, Full Time, First Shift
  • Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Associate degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Expertise in Problem Solving, Time management, Microsoft Office, Vlookup and Macros, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, SAP preferred
