This is where the course is set centrally for the design and further development of the group of companies in Germany and abroad - in close dialogue with the plants that we advise and whose ideas we take up.

Your Tasks: 

  • Act as a Product Owner Consultant for Smart Factory & Production applications, driving innovation and alignment with business needs.
  • Lead the standardization of the international Smart Factory & Production application landscape and following our single Business App strategy.
  • Responsible for the operation and lifecycle management of international IT services, systems, and applications related to smart factory and production.
  • Manage and maintain Smart Factory & Production servers, including lifecycle tasks such as updates, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Implement and enforce standardization of Smart Factory & Production applications across international sites, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Drive the introduction and integration of new cloud-based applications into the Smart Factory & Production ecosystem.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for international Smart Factory & Production applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Strengthen and empower the 1st level support team through improved documentation and knowledge base contributions.
  • Coordinate and manage external service providers and support the IT supplier manager, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with internal standards.

 

Your Profile: 

  • Vocational training: Successfully completed bachelor degree or higher in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner or IT Consultant in the area smart factory & production, with a strong understanding of business and technical requirements
  • Expertise: Solid knowledge of IT Service Management, ideally based on ITIL practices; Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and modern application architectures.
  • Personality: Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in international and cross-functional settings
  • Language skills: Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel: essential requirement for this role
