About the Role

We are currently looking for a Machinist to ensure maximum productivity of the heat treatment equipment while maintaining adequate quality of product.

  • Adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 requirements
  • Continuous improvement of work and activities

  • Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
  • Represent the company in professional and respectful manner
  • Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Adherence to 5S principles
  • Must be able to read temperature gauges and keep accurate quality logs
  • Working with a computerized control panel to control temperature and setup new jobs
  • Supplies equipment with raw material using forklift
  • Responsible for cleaning up furnace area and always maintaining a safe work environment
  • Work with maintenance on regular preventative maintenance plans
  • Communicates issues to other staff regarding issues occurring during production
  • Must adhere to the directives and instructions of the manager/supervisor

 

Location and Commitments 

  • Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
  • Permanent, Full Time, Third Shift 11:00 pm- 7:15 am (40 hour)
  • Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-2 years of work experience preferred.
  • Expertise in Manufacturing environment, blue-print reading, basic math.
